Public Health

As the COVID pandemic made clear, a robust public health infrastructure is essential, however, support for building and maintaining it is far from universal. As the nation’s health risks increase — from infectious disease outbreaks to rising rates of chronic diseases to extreme weather — now is the time to strengthen partnerships between the health care and public health systems to ensure we are better prepared for the next public health challenge.
